A seminar on the implementation of livestock projects and the use of new financial instruments was held in Namangan

On July 14 of this year, important educational and practical training sessions were organized in the city of Namangan for farmers and entrepreneurs operating in the livestock sector. The event was implemented within the framework of the “Financing the Sustainable Development of the Livestock Sector” project, carried out in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Livestock and Pasture Economy and the French Development Agency (AFD).

The primary objective of the seminar was to enhance the financial literacy of local livestock farmers and guide them on how to properly access and utilize preferential loans and grant resources.

Throughout the event, experts from partner banks and the Project Implementation Unit provided comprehensive explanations regarding modern loan requirements and the specific nuances of completing application forms. Using real-world case studies, participants familiarized themselves with project selection criteria and learned about common documentation errors, as well as effective methods to prevent and rectify them.

During the experience-sharing session, the case studies of farmers who had already successfully secured financial assistance under the project were presented. Participants engaged in active discussions on attracting funds, overcoming operational challenges, and achieving economic efficiency.

In the second half of the event, the farmers split into groups to engage in hands-on practical exercises. Guided by experts, they developed preliminary financial calculations and concepts for their individual business projects. The resulting business presentations were reviewed by bank representatives, who provided constructive feedback and key recommendations for further refinement.

The practical guidance provided at the seminar will serve as a catalyst for Namangan farmers to modernize their farms and successfully secure new grants in the future
