A delegation of French parliamentarians, together with representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD) Office in Uzbekistan, visited PARKENT NURLI TONG LLC in Parkent district and familiarized themselves with the company’s production processes.
With a processing capacity of 100 tons of milk per day, the modern facility supplies consumers with high-quality and safe dairy products, including milk, yogurt, cream and sour cream.
To increase production volumes and build up working capital, the company has benefited from preferential loans provided under the AFD project “Financing Sustainable Development in the Livestock Sector.” The total project value amounts to 10.4 billion sums, of which 4 billion sums (equivalent to 364,800 euros) was provided by AFD. The investment enabled the company to strengthen its raw material base and make full use of its existing production capacity.
The company currently has a complete technological chain in place, covering milk collection, processing, laboratory quality testing and packaging. Strict product safety and sanitary and hygiene requirements are observed throughout the production process. In response to domestic market demand, the company is also focusing on expanding its product range and continuously improving quality standards.
The delegation members positively assessed the quality control procedures and the effective use of the allocated funds. Such support for local producers helps strengthen processing industries in the regions and expand the supply of high-quality products to consumers.
