As previously reported, intensive training courses for representatives of the livestock sector had begun in Surkhandarya Region. On the final day of the program, participants gathered at the “Chorvador Yangiariq” livestock farm in the Termez district, where they applied their theoretical knowledge directly in practical working conditions.
Under the guidance of industry specialists, farmers closely studied proper feeding methods for dairy and beef cattle, animal housing practices, and principles for ensuring animal welfare. In addition, practical demonstrations were held on protecting animal health, disease prevention, modern milking techniques and hygiene standards, as well as first aid and emergency care for animals.
“Previously, we relied mainly on our own experience in many processes. Today’s practical sessions gave us a valuable opportunity to better understand our mistakes and manage our work in a more scientific and modern way,” participants of the training emphasized.
The main objective of this initiative, organized within the framework of the “Financing Sustainable Development of the Livestock Sector” Project with the participation of the French Development Agency (AFD), is to develop the livestock sector in the regions based on scientific and modern approaches, enhance the quality and productivity of livestock products, and ensure the financial sustainability of farming enterprises.
