The three-day specialized livestock seminar and training program for farmers and entrepreneurs from all districts of Navoi Region has successfully concluded. Launched on June 1 this year, the program became an important part of a systematic effort aimed at introducing international standards to the livestock sector and enhancing the professional qualifications of local producers.

The initiative is being implemented within the framework of the “Financing Sustainable Livestock Development” program with the participation of the Livestock and Pasture Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the French Development Agency (AFD). This large-scale project, carried out in cooperation with AFD, is helping to introduce advanced international practices into the livestock sector while systematically improving the professional skills of farmers.

During the three-day program, industry experts, experienced professors, and researchers provided participants with comprehensive information on the most important aspects of livestock farming. Particular attention was given to scientifically based feeding practices for dairy and beef cattle, compliance with veterinary hygiene requirements, prevention of infectious diseases, and the application of modern technologies in milking operations.

The training program was not limited to theoretical knowledge alone. Special emphasis was placed on linking theory with practical application. One of the most important parts of the seminar was the participants’ practical visit to the “Shahnoza” farm located in Karmana District. During the visit, farmers closely observed the operation of modern technologies and equipment, exchanged experiences with industry specialists, and had the opportunity to reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained during the seminar through hands-on practice.
