In the city of Urgench, special training seminars and workshops in the field of livestock farming have started for farmers and entrepreneurs from all districts of the Khorezm Region. These sessions are part of a systematic process aimed at introducing international standards into the sector and improving the professional qualifications of local producers.

It should be noted that previously, similar training courses were successfully conducted in the Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Namangan, Fergana, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Navoi and Bukhara regions, and are now being implemented in the Khorezm Region as well.

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the “Financing Sustainable Livestock Development” project with the participation of the Livestock and Pasture Development Agency and the French Development Agency (AFD). The main goal of the project is not only to attract preferential financial resources to the sector, but also to ensure the sustainable development of the industry by providing farmers with modern theoretical and practical knowledge.

During the training sessions, industry specialists, qualified professors, and researchers provide participants with detailed information on the most important aspects of livestock farming.

In particular, the training program includes the following relevant topics:

➖ proper feeding of cattle in dairy and meat directions;

➖ rules for animal housing and care;

➖ disease prevention and veterinary hygiene;

➖ modern milking methods and compliance with hygiene requirements;

➖ skills of providing first aid to animals.

At the same time, special attention is being paid to methods of animal care and maintaining productivity levels, taking into account the specific natural and climatic conditions of the Khorezm Region.

The training program is not limited to theoretical knowledge only but is based on the principle of closely integrating theory with practice.
