As previously reported, intensive training courses for farmers working in the livestock sector were organized in Kashkadarya Region from May 20 to 22 this year. Following the successful completion of the theoretical stage, the focus shifted to applying the acquired knowledge directly in real working conditions. The next stage of the training was conducted at the specialized livestock farm “SARDOR SH” in the Karshi district.

The practical sessions, organized within the framework of a project implemented with the participation of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee and the French Development Agency (AFD), are aimed at introducing international standards into the industry. In a real farm environment, participants closely studied proper livestock care methods and feeding practices in accordance with established standards. Specialists also provided detailed explanations on developing balanced diets for dairy and beef cattle, as well as on improving productivity.

During the training sessions, participants were shown effective milking management techniques and proper sanitary and hygiene practices. Livestock specialists also became familiar with the practical application of veterinary and biosecurity measures. One of the key topics of the event was the early detection of diseases and the proper organization of preventive measures to protect animal health.

Farmers also practiced first aid techniques for animals and emergency care methods in unexpected situations. The recommendations provided by experienced scientists and industry specialists are expected to help improve the efficiency of livestock farms. This combination of theory and practice enables participants to effectively implement modern technologies in their professional activities.
