Uzbekistan has gained access to the livestock products market of the United Arab Emirates. The parties have officially approved a veterinary certificate allowing the export of hatching eggs, day-old chicks, poultry meat, and rabbit meat to the UAE.
According to UzA, the approval process was carried out in several stages. Uzbekistan and the UAE exchanged information on their veterinary control systems, biosecurity measures, epizootic situation, as well as laboratory and export control capacities.
One of the key stages was the visit of a UAE delegation to Uzbekistan in November 2025. During the visit, the parties reviewed the operation of Uzbekistan’s veterinary system, visited poultry and livestock enterprises, and examined certification and laboratory control procedures.
Following the inspection, Uzbekistan’s veterinary system was recognized as compliant with international requirements and UAE standards. The official approval of veterinary certificates created the legal and practical basis for exporting livestock products to the market of the United Arab Emirates.
It is expected that this will expand export opportunities for domestic producers and strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
