Be aware of disease

Anthrax-zooanthroponosis is a very dangerous and contagious disease that occurs in humans and animals.

The causative agent of the disease is a soil infection, which is transmitted to animals by the alimentary tract through fodder, to people when they walk barefoot on the soil, when they hit straw (wall), in potters, when working in agricultural work in an unprotected way, through an open wound, slaughtering animals infected with anthrax, skinning, meat grinding, kala-pocha and it is transmitted during the processes of cleaning the gastrointestinal tract.

In animals, anthrax disease is very severe, the body temperature suddenly rises to 40-41 C, the intestines bleed, they become weak and lie down, and this condition ends with death.

Anthrax is transmitted from animals to animals, from animals to humans, but not from human to human.

HOW DOES THE DISEASE WORK IN PEOPLE?

-In humans, the disease is mostly invisible (in 98.0-99.0% of cases) in the form of a skin ulcer (corbuncle).

-The body temperature rises in patients.

- An anthrax wound is painless, the upper part of the wound is covered with a black lump similar to the color of coal, the area around the wound is red and swollen.

-Anthrax ulcers are often found on exposed parts of the body (arms, legs, face, neck).

TO PREVENT ANthrax:

-vaccinate livestock against anthrax by passing it to a veterinarian;

- not to allow sick animals to be slaughtered without a veterinarian's permission, to slaughter cattle only after a veterinary examination in the slaughterhouse and slaughterhouses;

- not to buy meat from places you come across, to buy meat from meat pavilions and shops;

- strict adherence to personal hygiene rules when caring for animals;

- when the livestock is sick, it is necessary to contact the veterinary service immediately.
